Macroeconomics
The course analyzes the basics of economic prosperity. The course also studies the causes of unemployment, economic fluctuations, exchange rate fluctuations, and the effects of the government’s budget deficit.

Quantitative Methods in Economics
The mathematics module begins with a review of basic arithmetic and solving equations and continues with variable calculus, differential calculus and optimization. The statistics module deals with probability theory and inference. The contents of both modules focus on the parts that are most used in economics as well as the practical skills to solve problems.

Microeconomics
Deals with consumption, production, and general equilibrium theory using analytical methods. Areas covered are eg the individual’s demand function, income and substitution effects, intertemporal choice, choice under uncertainty, partial and general market equilibrium.
